Aggarwal Industries (MTK Screws) manufactures machine screws and self-tapping screws in-house at its ISO 9001:2015 certified facility in Kasna Industrial Area, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh (Delhi NCR). The facility runs multi-station cold forging machines, thread rollers, and in-house quality testing equipment with a capacity of 1000+ tons per month, serving 4000+ clients pan-India.
MTK Screws manufactures two product categories in-house — Machine Screws (M2–M6) and Self Tapping Screws (#2–#14) — in SS 201, 204, 304 and 316(L) grades at its Greater Noida facility. The remaining six categories (Self Drilling Screws, additional Self Tapping and Machine Screw variants, Rivets, Fasteners/Anchors, and Allen Bolts) are stocked and supplied through the trading division for fast dispatch. This gives customers a single supplier for both precision-manufactured and stocked fastener needs.
ISO 9001:2015 certifies that Aggarwal Industries operates a documented quality management system covering raw material inspection, in-process checks, and final dimensional/tensile testing, with 15+ quality control checkpoints and a 99.8% quality pass rate. In practice it means every batch is traceable, material test certificates are available on request, and products conform to DIN, ISO, ANSI, IS, BS and JIS standards.
SS 304 is the standard choice for general industrial, indoor and light outdoor applications — it offers good corrosion resistance at a lower cost and is MTK Screws' most popular grade. SS 316(L) contains molybdenum, giving it superior resistance to chlorides and acids, which makes it the better choice for marine environments, chemical processing plants, coastal installations and other high-corrosion outdoor settings. Both grades are manufactured in-house across the full M2–M6 machine screw and #2–#14 self-tapping screw range.
DIN 7981 covers self-tapping screws with a pan head, while DIN 7982 covers countersunk (CSK) head self-tapping screws. Both share the same case-hardened thread form (HRC 28–38) but differ in head shape: pan head (7981) sits proud of the surface for easy re-driving, while countersunk (7982) sits flush — used where a smooth finished surface is required, such as cabinetry or sheet-metal panels.
Manufactured self-tapping screws are case-hardened to HRC 28–38 and made to DIN 7981, DIN 7982 and IS 7510. Trading-division self-drilling screws follow DIN 7504 and ISO 15480 at the same HRC 28–38 hardness range, ensuring consistent drilling and tapping performance into sheet steel.
Choose the drive type based on tooling and torque: Phillips (cross-drive) is the general-purpose default, slotted suits low-torque hand-driven work, and Torx (star) or internal hex (Allen) drives resist cam-out for high-torque or repeated-assembly applications. For head shape, pan heads are the general-purpose default, countersunk (CSK) heads sit flush for a finished surface, truss heads spread load over thin or soft material, and combi-washer heads add a captive washer to prevent pull-through. MTK Screws stocks nearly every combination across its manufacturing and trading ranges.
For metal roofing and cladding, EPDM-bonded hex flange head self-drilling screws are recommended, since the bonded EPDM washer creates a weatherproof seal at the fastening point. These can be paired with heavy-gauge Cyclone Washers for additional sealing on corrugated sheets. Both are stocked in the trading division to DIN 7504 / ISO 15480 standards, case-hardened to HRC 28–38.
Manufactured Pan Phillips and Combiwasher machine screws (M2–M6, SS 304/316(L), bright passivated or electropolished finish) are the standard choice for electrical and electronics assembly, sheet-metal fabrication and OEM production lines, made to ISO 1207, DIN 7985 and IS 1366. The Combiwasher variant's integrated captive washer is preferred where an assembly needs load distribution without loose parts falling into an enclosure.
A machine screw requires a pre-tapped hole or a nut to thread into and does not cut its own threads; it's used for precision assemblies that may need to be disassembled, such as electrical panels or machinery. A self-tapping screw cuts its own thread as it's driven into sheet metal, plastic or wood, making it faster to install where a pre-tapped hole isn't practical, such as HVAC ducting or white-goods assembly. MTK Screws manufactures both in-house.
